A look at the top 30 Newspapers in the US (according to Nielsen//Netratings) and the social media/bookmarking sites they’ve targeted and how they have integrated them into their websites.

It’s interesting to see who has embraced social bookmarking and which have chosen to ignore it completely. On top of that its fascinating to see the wholesale adoption by some (Chicago Sun Times, San Francisco Chronicle) to the targeted use (NY Times, Star Tribune) to none at all (50% of the list). If will be interesting to run this list again next year to see what has changed and if half of the big players are still ignoring social bookmarking all together.
