Color, as you know, yields very different emotional reactions for various people for cultural reasons or personal. Google may have had a motive in making the logo 4 colors the way they did, but most likely it was different from the rest at the time. I also read that Page likes Lego&#039;s a lot.

Check this out, back in 1998, it looks like the didn&#039;t have a professional redesign of the logo till much later: http://web.archive.org/web/19981202230410/http://www.google.com/
