Andy Beal has put together a nice post today giving interactive agencies five strategies to add $1 Million in ‘07. Andy does really in depth coverage on this but to summarize:
1. Stand out from the crowd.
2. Write articles to establish your voice within the industry
3. Speak at industry events and confernces
4. Get your name in print (and no not the police blotter)
5. Know the value of a big brand client

What can I add?
6. Network more. Whether its within the industry, at your local chamber of commerce, family, friends, online or offline – I can’t enough about the power of networking with as many different people as possible.
7. Be passionate everyday. Sounds simple, right? I have seen firsthand the difference in revenues when I am extremely passionate or just going through the motions (it doesn’t happen a lot but you can’t afford for it to ever happen). The trickle-down theory applies here big time.
8. Offer a great product. Most agencies offer services only. Having a strong product can build credibility and diversify your revenues. More to come on that one from 10e20 in 2007…
