In what looks to be an interesting coup to get people out to SES Chicago - Incisive has struck a deal to feature Jason Calacanis at the Search Engine Strategies show in December. Why is this big news? This will be Jason’s first and only appearance since his controversialJason Calacanis departure from Netscape/AOL.

Last week it was reported by TechCrunch that he was leaving AOL but many in the industry reported hearing rumblings that he was actually fired. Jason himself said that he was leaving and that “I’ve got a lot to say”. I am sure Incisive is banking on that being said at SES Chicago.

Will this be the push needed to get a lot of search engine marketers out to cold and windy Chicago for Danny Sullivan’s last show on the heels of PubCon in Vegas?
