Google Maps: Click to Call Feature AddedNov 17 2006 | Google |
Yesterday, Google announced a pretty neat feature in Google Maps which is a great solution for those whose businesses are localized. The feature, called Click to Call, allows you to get in touch with local businesses after locating them on the map.
To utilize this feature, first locate a business on Google maps. You’ll see a new little link saying “call” like this:

Once you click on “call,” you can input your telephone number:

Google then calls you and then connects you with the business.
The cool part is that it’s completely free.
So make sure your local business is listed on Google, because this is a great way to get new prospects.
