Digg LogoHarry Maugans has spent a lot of time and posted some really good info about Digg (so much so that I felt it was worth an entire post here).

In the first post he broke down the most powerful sites on Digg (arstechnica and engadget were at the top) over the last 30 days. I was surprised to not see Techcrunch on the list but was certainly not shocked at all by The Consumerist at #4. He then broke down the most powerful sites by topic. This is good information to use when you are looking for well liked sites to help you become a Digg top user.

The one that really caught my eye was his post on the most powerful users on Digg. As you may remember back in February, Digg completely removed user rankings and the top user list. Netscape developer and Digg user Chris Finke went on to recreate it but Harry’s list actually shows a more updated version of who is the strongest now (again his data was based on the last 30 days).

Here’s a snapshot of the Top 10:

#1 MrBabyMan — one hundred thirty three articles
#2 gmark13 — forty eight articles
#3 supernova17 — forty five articles
#4 mklopez — forty four articles
#5 AdmiralAdama — forty articles
#6 1KrazyKorean — thirty five articles
#7 interg12 — thirty articles
#8 skored — twenty six articles
#9 Blakovitch — twenty five articles
#10 IvanB — twenty four articles
